The Matadors (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Workman (City of Industry, CA). The Lobos come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Workman dropped by Don Lugo (Chino, CA), 37-12, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. South El Monte will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 70-13 non-league win over Montebello (Montebello, CA).
