In Wednesday's non-league test, the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), by a score of 60-40.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 14. Central will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 3-8 record after their 54-30 league loss to Okawville (Okawville, IL).
