North Carolina High School Basketball - Ledford thwarts Parkland

December 11, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27127

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) and the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), observed Ledford's basketball team knock off Parkland by a score of 53-45.

The Panthers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, West Davidson dropped by Salisbury (Salisbury, NC), 66-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont challenge, on Friday, December 13. Parkland will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 70-29 non-league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
