The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) and the visiting Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), observed River Forest's basketball team overwhelm Whiting by a margin of 42-16.

The Ingots (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Hanover Central trounced Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN), 38-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Oilers battle the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Whiting will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 46-42 non-league win over Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN).
