The Sunnyside Wildcats soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Mt. Whitney Pioneers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Yosemite for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Sunnyside will play a Badgers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over McLane (Fresno, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Mt. Whitney moves to 0-5 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Reedley (Reedley, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
