The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) and the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT), witnessed Pomfret School's ice hockey team hold off Loomis Chaffee School by a score of 3-2.

The Griffins (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, RI). The Ravens come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Portsmouth Abbey was nipped by St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pelicans battle the Canterbury School Saints (New Milford, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
