In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mariposa County Grizzlies basketball team scored a close 64-60 triumph over the Amador Buffaloes.
The Grizzlies (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Sacramento, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Valley got by Stockton Christian (Stockton, CA), 51-35, in a non-league match.
The Buffaloes now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stockton Christian for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Amador will face a Eagles squad coming off a 50-47 league win over Lodi Academy (Lodi, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
