In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Normangee Panthers basketball team scored a good 62-52 triumph over the Ballinger Bearcats.
The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Bruceville-Eddy topped Blum (Blum, TX), 48-45, in a non-league match.
