In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Barnesville Trojans basketball team scored a good 74-54 triumph over the Minnewaska Area Lakers.
The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Rebels go into the AA Section 8 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton topped Hawley (Hawley, MN), 62-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Paynesville Bulldogs (Paynesville, MN) in a AA Section 3 contest, on Friday, December 12. Minnewaska Area will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 64-62 league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).
