Texas High School Basketball - Smithson Valley routed by BigTyme Prep Academy

BigTyme Prep Academy Bears (Rockwall, TX) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 87-36 in a non-league contest.

The Bears (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop (Bishop, TX). The Badgers go into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Bishop was trounced by Jones (Beeville, TX), 81-50, in a non-league match.

The Rangers now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Oso for a non-league match on Thursday, December 11. Smithson Valley will face a Bears team coming off a 49-37 non-league win over King (Kingsville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 8-3.
