The East Chambers Buccaneers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Lovelady Lions to 53 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Buccaneers now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Overton for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. East Chambers will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.

The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Sabine was defeated by Atlanta (Atlanta, TX), 64-43, in a non-league outing.
