The Highland Rebels basketball team (Hardy, AR), dropped 65-46 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR)
The Bearkatz (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Izard County thwarted Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR), 65-53, in a league battle.
The Rebels now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rural Special for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 18. Highland will battle a Rebels team coming off a 62-42 league win over Concord (Concord, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 12-3.
