The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Shalhevet Firehawks (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Hillcrest Christian Saints (Thousand Oaks, CA), observed Shalhevet's basketball team overwhelm Hillcrest Christian by a score of 73-38.

The Firehawks (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Malibu (Malibu, CA). The Sharks enter the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Malibu was crushed by Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA), 61-53, in a league battle.

The Saints now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Fernando Valley Academy for a Omega battle on Saturday, December 13. Hillcrest Christian will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 94-21 league win over Westmark (Encino, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-7.
