Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) backers went home thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Pasadena Eagles (Pasadena, TX), 41-30 in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 11. Pasadena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 50-42 non-league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
