Texas High School Basketball - Leadership Prep can't hold off Southwest Christian School

Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Leadership Prep Lions (Frisco, TX), 80-79 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Southwest Christian School advances its record to 4-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 13. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 4-2. Covenant Christian won 63-62 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Worth THESA (Fort Worth, TX)

In their next game, the Lions battle the DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Leadership Prep will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 81-50 non-league win over Andress (El Paso, TX).
