The Porter Spartans (Porter, TX) basketball toppled the visiting Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon Titans (Spring, TX), 60-47 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Vidor for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Porter will play a Pirates team coming off a 70-48 non-league win over Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 4-2.

The Titans (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Orange Grove went down by Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 64-42, in a non-league test.
