The Vestavia Hills Rebels basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Pelham Panthers to 32 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rebels now have a 1-0 record.
With the loss, Pelham falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Calera (Calera, AL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 12. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-0. Calera won 67-17 in their recent non-league outing against Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL)
