The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN) and the visiting Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN), observed Bemidji's basketball team overwhelm Hibbing by a score of 73-23.

The Lumberjacks (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Pequot Lakes walloped St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN), 65-39, in a non-league battle.

The Bluejackets now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aitkin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 16. Hibbing will battle a Gobblers team coming off a 61-47 league loss to Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN). The Gobblers record now stands at 2-5.
