The Farwell Steers basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Borger Bulldogs to 24 in the Steers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Steers now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Dalhart for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 16. Farwell will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 52-27 non-league win over Spearman (Spearman, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 10-1.

The Bulldogs (1-9) will now prepare for their test against New Way Christian Academy (Odessa, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, New Way Christian Academy went down by McCamey (McCamey, TX), 54-37, in a non-league test.
