The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the visiting Butte Valley Bulldogs (Dorris, CA), observed Mt. Shasta's basketball team overwhelm Butte Valley by a score of 57-29.

The Bears (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Lakers enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Pyramid Lake was crushed by Fernley (Fernley, NV), 59-46, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yreka for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Butte Valley will meet a Miners squad coming off a 54-53 non-league win over Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Miners record now stands at 3-2.
