The Strawn Greyhounds basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Cross Plains Buffaloes to 25 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lometa for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. Strawn will play a Hornets team coming off a 48-27 non-league loss to Gustine (Gustine, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Cross Plains moves to 11-3 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, December 12.
