River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX) backers were thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Follett Panthers (Follett, TX), 20-18 in a non-league game.

The Wildcats now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Miami for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. River Road will confront a Warriors team coming off a 39-28 non-league win over San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Follett falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Boys Ranch (Boys Ranch, TX) to confront the Roughriders in a non-league game on Friday, December 19. The Roughriders enter the outing with a record of 7-10. Boys Ranch won 39-36 in their recent non-league outing against Panhandle Christian Home Educators (Amarillo, TX)
