The Pinckney Pirates basketball team scored 35 points and limited the visiting Monroe Trojans to 30 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chelsea for a Southeastern - White outing on Tuesday, December 16. Pinckney will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-35 non-league loss to Edison Academy (Detroit, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Huron (Ann Arbor, MI). The River Rats come into the Southeastern - Red outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Huron was nipped by Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI), 77-14, in a non-league outing.
