The Thornwell Saints basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets to 24 in the Saints league triumph on Thursday.
The Saints now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Spartanburg Christian Academy for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. Thornwell will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 39-37 non-league loss to Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-5.
The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL). The Silent Warriors come into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Alabama School for the Deaf bounced Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL), 31-29, in a non-league test.
