In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Marcos de Niza Padres basketball team scored a good 49-38 triumph over the Cortez Colts.
The Padres (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glendale (Glendale, AZ). The Cardinals enter the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Glendale was dropped by Cortez (Phoenix, AZ), 46-35, in a non-league match.
The Colts now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glendale for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. Cortez will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 69-51 non-league loss to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
