The Arcola Purple Riders basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Judah Christian Tribe to 44 in the Purple Riders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Purple Riders now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sullivan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Arcola will meet a Redskins team coming off a 49-44 non-league loss to Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 1-5.

The Tribe (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Villa Grove was defeated by Salt Fork (Sidell, IL), 54-24, in a non-league contest.
