The Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL), 72-52 in Monday's non-league test.
The Comets (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats go into the Illinois Central 8 test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Wilmington went down by Morris (Morris, IL), 56-54, in a non-league test.
