Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), 61-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Coronado upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Dons travel to Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Goldwater will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Padres go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 59-57 non-league loss to Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ).
