The Kelly Trojans basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros to 30 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hancock for a Chicago Public - Blue Central contest on Tuesday, December 13. Kelly will battle a Eagles team coming off a 49-29 league win over Horizon Science Academy-Southwest (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
The Cristeros (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hinsdale Adventist Academy (Hinsdale, IL). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Hinsdale Adventist Academy was defeated by College Prep of America (Lombard, IL), 66-25, in a league contest.
