The Waldorf Thunder basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Cruz Dragons to 30 in the Thunder league triumph on Monday.

The Thunder now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park for a Lakeshore contest on Friday, December 16. Waldorf will meet a Hawks team coming off a 66-43 league loss to Beacon Academy (Evanston, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 4-7.

The Dragons (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Heritage Academy (Northfield, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Christian Heritage Academy was nudged by Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus (Chicago, IL), 51-37, in a league contest.
