In Monday's non-league outing, the East Ridge Pioneers (Chattanooga, TN) basketball squad beat the host Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles (Chattanooga, TN), by a margin of 68-54.

The Pioneers (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hixson (Hixson, TN). The Wildcats go into the 3A District 6 outing with a 0-7 record. In their last outing, Hixson was topped by Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN), 99-24, in a league outing.

The Golden Eagles now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Berean Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3. Grace Baptist Academy will clash with a Eagle squad coming off a 54-41 non-league win over Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Eagle record now stands at 4-2.
