El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting University Trojans (Irvine, CA), 80-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, El Toro upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Trabuco Hills won 58-38 in their recent non-league bout against Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. University will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tritons come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 46-40 non-league loss to Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA).
