Illinois High School Basketball - Galesburg can't hold off Manual

The Manual Rams basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Galesburg Silver Streaks to 46 in the Rams non-league victory on Monday.

The Rams now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Champaign Central for a Big Twelve contest on Friday, December 16. Manual will battle a Maroons team coming off a 65-56 non-league loss to Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 1-4.

The Silver Streaks (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Grayhounds come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Burlington edged Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA), 57-55, in a non-league contest.
