Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), 92-70 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lutheran upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Waubonsie Valley lost 60-54 in their recent league bout against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)

Next up, the Cogs play the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Genoa-Kingston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Hubs come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 75-64 league win over Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
