Louisiana High School Basketball - Southwood can't hold off Green Oaks

The Green Oaks Giants basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Southwood Cowboys to 33 in the Giants non-league triumph on Monday.
The Giants now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haughton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Green Oaks will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 56-43 non-league loss to Minden (Minden, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-8.
The Cowboys (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll (Monroe, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Carroll was nudged by Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA), 56-51, in a non-league contest.
