The Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) basketball knocked off the host West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 61-43 in Monday's non-league test.

The Hawks (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Aztecs go into the 6A Central test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Corona del Sol went down by Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 74-66, in a non-league test.

The Dragons now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Browne for a non-league test on Thursday, December 15. West Point will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 56-26 non-league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Bruins record now stands at 4-5.
