North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee Park Prep overwhelmed by Shining Light Academy

The Shining Light Academy Knights basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Lee Park Prep Knights to 49 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Day School for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Shining Light Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 71-62 non-league win over Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.

The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Apprentice Academy (Monroe, NC). The Red Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Apprentice Academy was routed by Central Academy (Monroe, NC), 64-40, in a non-league contest.
