St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morningside Monarchs (Inglewood, CA), 79-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Bernard upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to play the Swordsmen in a Del Rey bout on Friday, January 6. The Swordsmen go into the bout with a record of 8-2.

Next up, the Monarchs play the University Pathways Medical Magnet (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Morningside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
