Alabama High School Basketball - Section can't hold off St. John Paul II

The St. John Paul II Falcons basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Section Lions to 58 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitesburg Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. St. John Paul II will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-35 non-league win over Woodville (Woodville, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-3.

Next up, the Lions play the Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Section will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
