The El Cerrito Gauchos basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Castro Valley Trojans to 45 in the Gauchos non-league victory on Monday.

The Gauchos now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hercules for a contest on Tuesday, December 13. El Cerrito will battle a Titans team coming off a 40-27 league win over Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.

The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Dragons come into the contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Bishop O'Dowd prevailed over Lincoln (Stockton, CA), 55-45, in a non-league contest.
