Fertile-Beltrami Falcons (Fertile, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cass Lake-Bena Panthers (Cass Lake, MN), 78-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Fertile-Beltrami upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Panthers play the Red Lake Warriors (Red Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Cass Lake-Bena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
