Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team trounce the visiting DCP El Primero Lobos (San Jose, CA), 47-14 in a non-league battle.
The Oilers now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a Tri-County - Stone battle on Tuesday, December 13. Richmond will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 43-16 league win over El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-2.
The Lobos (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Latino College Preparatory Academy (San Jose, CA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Latino College Preparatory Academy was overwhelmed by DCP Alum Rock (San Jose, CA), 57-7, in a non-league battle.
