With the victory, Mize improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS) to confront the Crusaders in a 2A Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Yellowjackets encounter the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 15. Enterprise will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Cobras go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 49-44 non-league win over Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS).
