Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA), 64-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grinnell upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Pella Christian (Pella, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a Little Hawkeye bout on Friday, December 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Pella Christian lost 60-24 in their recent league bout against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA)
Next up, the Roughriders clash with the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Little Cyclones go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 65-25 non-league loss to Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA).
