Mauston Golden Eagles (Mauston, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting River Valley Blackhawks (Spring Green, WI), 45-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mauston upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI) to clash with the Chiefs in a South Central bout on Friday, December 16. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Wisconsin Dells lost 57-45 in their recent non-league bout against Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI)

Next up, the Blackhawks clash with the Lancaster Flying Arrows (Lancaster, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin bout, on Tuesday, December 13. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Flying Arrows go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 63-56 non-league win over Benton (Benton, WI).
