Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack (Elk Grove, CA) supporters were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 53-52 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Cosumnes Oaks improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host El Capitan (Merced, CA) to confront the Gauchos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Gauchos come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. El Capitan won 57-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Downey (Modesto, CA)

Next up, the Miners confront the Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Nevada Union will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 30-22 non-league win over Rosemont (Sacramento, CA).
