California High School Basketball - Berkeley crushes Mt. Diablo

December 12, 2022: Berkeley, CA 94704

Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA), 87-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berkeley upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Mt. Eden lost 64-54 in their recent non-league bout against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Marin Catholic Wildcats (Kentfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Mt. Diablo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 46-42 non-league win over Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA).
