The Berrien Springs Shamrocks basketball team scored 51 points and held the host South Bend Career Academy Trailblazers to 49 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Shamrocks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coloma for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24.

The Trailblazers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Argos (Argos, IN). The Dragons enter the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Argos nudged West Central (Francesville, IN), 40-39, in a non-league contest.
