Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ), 45-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Browne upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bruins host Skyline (Mesa, AZ) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Aztecs clash with the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Copper Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
