The Willits Wolverines basketball team (Willits, CA), was nudged 45-41 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Clear Lake Cardinals (Lakeport, CA)
The Cardinals now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middletown for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. Clear Lake will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 46-39 league win over Fort Bragg (Fort Bragg, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
The Wolverines (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Roseland University Prep (Santa Rosa, CA). The Knights go into the outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Roseland University Prep held off Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA), 43-39, in a league outing.
